Concept Narration: This logo is for a high class wedding cake maker enterprise, CakeValet. It portrays class, prestige, elegance, simplicity, commitment, modernity, decorous, contemporary and dignity. The logo does not give away its representation of "cake" by having an obvious image of a cake. Instead, a firy dot on the K symbolises a cake candle - no doubt obvious as well, but at least symbolic rather than directly conveyed. Other versions tested were on various background and font colours as follows:

Concept Narration: This logo is for a cake maker enterprise, Sugarism. The logo simply portrays elements of simplicity, modernity, young, vibrant, colourful, alive, contemporary, playful, sweet and happy. The logo does not give away its representation of "cake" by having an obvious image of a cake. Instead, a pink-white striped candle, which is often the case for a birthday cake, is used as a hint - no doubt obvious as well, but at least symbolic rather than directly conveyed. This logo also allows the owner of the business to project a comfortable zone of the realm of cake making by virtue of the soft, sweet and pastel colours used.

Given to Fairuz Ramdan as a token of appreciation for his role as one of the judges for MyCreative Ventures' Fashion Pitch 3 held on 23 April 2015.
This piece was given as a souvenir to one of the judges of MyCreative Ventures' Fashion Pitch 3. It portrays the passionate avangarde nature of the fashion industry yet infused with an opposite character of mysterious secrets. This radiates the power of inviting people to inquire the meaning of it all, which is really the essence of life itself - full of happiness and goodness but also with unanswered wonders of this universe. The cloudy silhouette of a Wayang Kulit (Shadow Puppet) adds a mystical feel to it and of course, making this unmistakenbly Malaysian. The Wayang Kulit silhouette is a product of a cardboard stencil (Left).

Concept Narration: This logo is for an outdoor activity club, Jom Outdoor, based in Kuala Lumpur. The logo simply portrays elements of simplicity, modernity, young, vibrant, colourful, alive, contemporary, playful and socialistic. When the word "Outdoor" is mentioned, a natural reaction to a logo designer would be to include some images that represents mountains, rivers, climbers, or any suggestion of possible outdoor activities. I have taken an unconventional direction to ignore such basic and common reaction to the subject matter. For example, the "Burger" in Burger King's logo looks damn boring as compared to the Golden Arch of McDonald's. This logo also allows the club to change its choice of colour identification from Green to Blue to Red or Yellow. I was tempted to put a triangle flag on the pole between "Jom" and "Outdoor",... but tht would have been as dumb as the "Burger", wouldn't it?
