Simply saying that Malaysia has gone through a period of modernisation apparent from the development evidenced by its significant exports from electronics sector. This move of modernisation has transformed Malaysia from an agriculture based economy to a neo-industrialised country. With the introduction of many Government vehicles and agencies that support technological advancement, particularly the Malaysia Multimedia Super Corridor that was introduced by the former Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir, at the turn of the milennium, Malaysia is set to achieve a 'Developed' nation status by 2020. At where it is now as a 'Developing' nation, the economic growth of 5% per annum simply paves the track to the right direction. This piece of art depicts that. The Wayang Kulit (Shadow Puppet) represents the people of the land with rich culture and traditional origins. They will benefit from this modernisation, ..... if they are smart enough to seize the opportunity. Will they?
