Thunder in the Distance
The air is sweet and soothing
As if rose petals are floating
Randomly moving around
Holding ransom to memories
Filling in the void with sadness
In the far distance
The clouds amassed gracefully
Promising parades of shadows
Sending out cold wind
Reminding us of days to come
Preparing us to life ahead
For that marks that pages shall turn
Whether or not,
We are still searching
For those floating roses
